OVERVIEW:
Primary duties support Missile Defense Agency Science and Technology Roadmap and Capture program. Map technology gaps in the future architecture, identify technologies to address gaps, and develop advocacy briefings and point papers for proposed technology solutions.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Collaborate with a team of engineers, to include architecture engineers and technologists to identify technology gaps across the Missile Defense System Portfolio
- Coordinate with multiple program offices to identify and prioritize missile defense technology gaps
- Use available tools, to include Microsoft office, Qlik, Advana, and others, as appropriate, to quantify and document technology gaps in the planned missile defense system architecture.
- Build briefings and point papers for research area leads, chief technology officers, lead scientists and engineers, program managers, and communities of interest
- Develop and coordinate program management and budget courses of action to best address technology gaps through planned budget years, with available funding
REQUIRED SKILLS: - BA/BS Degree in related field with 17+ years’ of experience. MA/MS Degree in related field with 12+ years of experience, P.H.D. with 5+ years of experience.
- Systems engineering experience with focused experience in low TRL technologies and systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in supporting program planning and development of emerging technology capabilities, identifying analysis priorities, and developing processes to support federal acquisition programs.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate projects and priorities across multiple organizations.
- Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications, developing and presenting briefings and preparing technical reports. Preferred experience with executive support.
- Preferred knowledge of hypersonic flight, hypersonic defense, and related technology challenges.
- Secret Clearance required.
