Reliant is looking for an amazingly talented Intermediate Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support of Advanced Manufacturing Technology tasks associated with materials and processing. Knowledge of structural metals, polymer and carbon/carbon composites, ceramics, and advanced manufacturing technologies for these materials is desirable. Secondary duties are to monitor the health of the domestic industrial base for materials and processes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Primary duties in support of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) tasks associated with materials and processing.
Knowledge of structural metals, polymer and carbon/carbon composites, ceramics, and advanced manufacturing technologies for these materials is desirable.
Secondary duties are to monitor the health of the domestic industrial base for materials and processes.
Coordinate and collaborate with small business suppliers in advanced research to identify new technical capabilities in materials and advanced manufacturing processes.
Prepare recommendations to the MDA for technology and industrial base investments to support future programs.
Participate in ManTech and Industrial Base organization Working Groups and Councils.
Provide analysis, evaluation, and documentation of the health of the materials industrial base.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
BA/BS Degree in related field with 7+ years’ of experience.
Active Secret Clearance.
Demonstrated expertise in supporting program planning and development of emerging technology capabilities and identifying analysis priorities.
Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate projects across multiple organizations.
Demonstrated knowledge of BMDS to successfully develop and optimize technologies for next generation missions utilizing system and component analysis principles required to successfully transition technology with system architecture.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Demonstrated skill and experience in managing the development of technical products.
Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications, developing and presenting briefing and preparing technical reports.
Degree in Mechanical, Material, or Electrical Engineering is highly desired.
Experience with Supply Quality Engineering (SQE).
