Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts include engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs. Systems engineering tasking includes participation in reviews and assessments of C2BMC M&S products and documentation. Collaboration with MDS stakeholders is required to prepare C2BMC M&S products as part of the engineering objectives documentation and analysis processes. Other activities include participation in engineering meetings, presenting engineering product development updates, providing analysis and failure review summaries, and making recommendations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide evolving C3BM architecture analysis.
Provide expertise in the area of OPIR capability.
Support M&S development efforts for C2BM and BOA.
Participate in evaluations of C3BM increments and initiatives; coordinate V&V activities for all C2BMC and OPIR M&S.
Provide expertise in threat modeling.
Provide systems engineering support to validate C3BM models used to assess system capabilities and limitations and inform development of MDS analysis capability provided to the Warfighter.
Provide input on measures used to validate models, evaluate test cases to ensure performance adequately assessed, interpret test results to identify problems and impact to overall system capability, provide developer and MDA/BC Project Office feedback on sensor model algorithms, research and provide recommendations on model improvement opportunities that will have the most impact to the overall system performance.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• MA/MS Degree with 12 years of Related experience or BA/BS and 20+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a MA/MS
degree
• Active Secret clearance
• Familiarity/algorithm knowledge of C3BM/OPIR capabilities, and any models/simulations skills
• Python, MATLAB, Visual Basic, supporting simulation environment evaluations, a plus
• Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts
• Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment
• Apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration, and operations
• Work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment
• Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment
